As a working third-year, Architecture major student from the Eastern Visayas State University, Meliquisidec proves that nothing is impossible when you have a goal in your career.

Creativity can be found in various places and inspiration. In fact, it’s not uncommon that artistic individuals can also come from different industries. 

Kimberley Joy Magbanua is a proud frontliner and healthcare worker from Negros Occidental. Kimberley shows her talent in art through a unique twist of using syringes instead of the traditional brushes or pens to create her artworks.

Her paintings and versatile way of making her masterpieces earned the attention of other Filipino artists while honoring her fellow frontliners during the hardships of the pandemic.

Through her art, Kimberley was able to spark inspiration and motivation across two different industries, science, and art, while showing her love for her career.

Cheryl Formilleza, The Hardworking Supermom

A mother’s love for her family can make them into supermoms that can do anything. 

Despite being partially paralytic for more than ten years, Cheryl Formilleza, a single mom Brgy. Poctoy, Odiongan, Romblon can support her daughter through her business of making handicrafts that are also sold worldwide.

Cheryl supports her daughter’s daily needs and education through knitted accessories, clothing, and other items she sells online on her Instagram account and Facebook page.

She proves that her disabilities didn’t stop her from being the breadwinner for her family and taking care of her daughter.

While these are only a few inspiring stories of our countrymen. Across the Philippines, many dedicated and skilled Filipino laborers continue to work not just for their personal goals and families but also to make a difference in our country.
